The 8th International Conference on Image and Graphics Processing (ICIGP 2025)    Macau, China | January 3-5, 2025

ICIGP 2022
January 7-9, 2022 | Beijing, China

The 5th International Conference on Image and Graphics Processing (ICIGP 2022) was held online during January 7-9, 2022 and it was co-sponsored by East China Normal University, China, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Multidimensional Information Processing, China and University of Central Lancashire, UK; assisted by Beijing Forestry University, China, Shandong University, China, Shaanxi University of Science & Technology, China and Tokyo City University, Japan; scholarly supported by University of Liverpool, UK.

Three renowned keynote speakers shared with us their cutting-edge research and visions. They were Prof. Wan-Chi Siu (IEEE Life Fellow & IET Fellow) from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; Prof. S. Kevin Zhou (IEEE Fellow) from Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China; and Prof. Ce Zhu (IEEE Fellow) from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. In addition, thirteen invited speakers delivered insightful talks on the state of the art research in their areas of expertise. Although it has been a great pity that we were only able to run the conference online due to the pandemic, but the virtual conference has provided an excellent opportunity to allow our participants to connect and keep breast with the latest developments.

Accepted papers were grouped into 8 sessions. Best papers and best presentations were selected by two independent session chairs without conflict of interest based on the same set of criteria.
